The batik variable stars are now a flimsy. I made 36 blocks and used 32 of them. It may not look like it, but there is a color arrangement -- warm backgrounds in the center and cooler backgrounds around the perimeter. (The four blocks I did not use were color combos that didn't fit.)
Warm temps and lots of sunshine this week for my afternoon walks. The red-winged blackbirds are chorusing.

Pack ice on Monday. I haven't been to the lakefront since then but most likely it is all melted.

ReplyDeleteI've used Wawak for years as a source for regular sewing/tailoring supplies, but never thought about looking for Aurifil thread there. Thanks for the great tip. They have excellent prices on zippers, elastic, etc.
