In this post I explained that my summer reading goal in 2015 is to read, or re-read all of the Newbery Medal books.  Over the years I've read about 35 of them, some many times.   1. I've heard of many of these (as a one-time elementary school library cataloguer), but have only read the winners from:
    1963, 1966, 1968, 1970, 1972, 1990, 1994, 1999, and 2010

  2. Thank you. I want to send a copy to my grandchildren with stars on the ones I read as a child. I can see clearly when my children grew up. Maybe I can read the end of the list with their children.

  3. Thank you for the idea and the list of books. I've "stolen" the list for me to reference, and make my own list. I've been rereading books as I recommend them to my grandchildren, and finding new books to read along with them. So many books, so little time!
