"Hello, fan club!" |
Tuesday afternoon the temperature reached 51 degrees, about 40 degrees higher than a week ago. We paid a visit to the state park. It felt good to stretch my legs.
Yuccas stay green. The fungus reminded me of hand- and foot-holds on a climbing wall. There's still a little snow.

Yay for getting out for a nice walk and even bigger yay for higher temps! It's going to be a long while before our snow goes away.
ReplyDeleteI like how you're using those kite blocks, Nann! The pretty color in your SAHRR is so appealing. Love seeing where you walk - so many scenic places!
ReplyDeleteIt was in the high 70's here yesterday, even I got out for a nice walk. I like where you are going with your SAHRR.
ReplyDeletelooking great so far....yep spring here too for a few days anyway....the real thing isn't far behind i do believe
ReplyDeleteWow, 40 degrees? What a jump. Must have felt so good to get out and about. I love the landscape there! Your progress on the SAHRR is sure coming along. This is going to be such a beautiful quilt! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

That is going to take a lot of blocks to go all around that quilt. Yours is one of my favorites of all of the Round Robins I have seen this time.
ReplyDeleteYes, the temperature changes are dizzying - we are having them too and I am frantically moving up my garden list of things to get done before spring. It comes every year (so far) and I am always surprised.

Fun to get a glimpse of you "out in the wild" having time outdoors after a long winter! And your SAHRR is looking so fabulous!
