Midweek: Poppy Stars, front and back
Here's the front.
I used a gold/orange print for the binding.
Here's the back.
I got to thinking: I know I won 40 sixteen-patch blocks. If I used 30 on the front and six on the back, what happened to the others? I found them yesterday in the mailing envelope. Four more orphans for the box!

I think fabric multiples. Except when you really need a particular piece. It's kind a like magic. Beautiful quilt!
ReplyDeleteLove all the color!

Isn't that a bright, cheery quilt! Love your backing too!
ReplyDeleteAmazing how simple blocks can make a stunning quilt.
ReplyDeleteQuite stunning!
ReplyDeleteIsn’t that always what happens, finding the missing blocks when it’s too late! Never mind, they will work in some orphan block project! The quilt you finished is a winner and will keep someone warm just looking at it! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteThe colors in this quilt are awesome!!! My favorite palette and my favorite time of year :)
ReplyDeleteOMG, this just glows!!! Such gorgeous colors.
