My One Monthly Goal for November was to quilt three flimsies. I exceeded that goal and quilted five. I've written about each one in previous posts.
Three have pieced backs. That process can be a design challenge--choosing fabrics that contrast but somehow go with the front. I created two more flimsies. Neither has a destination or a deadline so into the box they go.The stash report:Fabric IN, November: 75 yards, $76.00 -- $1.01 and a fraction per yard.
Fabric OUT, November: 73-7/8 yards. (That includes a box I sent to a friend in Kansas who makes tote bags and other accessories (here is her site.)
Fabric IN, year to date: 355-1/2 yards, $1482; $4.17 average
Fabric OUT, year to date: 483-7/8
Net 128-2/3 reduction. Yay!

ReplyDeleteLovely quilts Nann! I still am enamored with that pinwheel top! Did you just wing it or use a tutorial or pattern? It's lovely and has so much movement! Have a safe and happy day!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you accomplish so much with as active as you are. Waytago!
ReplyDeleteWow, great job! Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and congrats on your finish.
ReplyDeleteFIVE??? Five flimsies quilted with all the turkey and sides, all the books and your naturewalks... I am exhausted just thinking about it all. Kudos to you. Based on your recommendation, I listened to "Early Morning Riser" and realized I am so much like Aggie. I change up recipe ingredients and I am a control freak. I enjoyed it very much :-)
ReplyDeleteJust catching up on your blog posts, Nann. Congrats on a productive November!
