He was discharged Friday morning. We went to the library on Saturday and to church on Sunday -- gradually adjusting to a new normal.
It was a historic week for Chicago as the Cubs won the World Series!
I confess that I did not watch all of Game 7 on Wednesday night. Firecrackers going off in the neighborhood woke me up and I turned on the TV to see the post-game euphoria.
