DWM: Orca Bay 6 and Tomatoes

Has it really been six weeks since we began our journey to Orca Bay?  These Ohio Star blocks are pretty snappy as they are -- but I know that Bonnie will combine these with the red string triangles, the blue string squares, and the black/white 'orcas' in another memorable design.    Here are other Orca Bay  and  Design Wall  updates.
DH's Christmas Eve dining:  the last two tomatoes from our vegetable garden.   The vines were pulled out in October. These have been ever-so-slowly ripening in the refrigerator.

I made this bookshelf quilt for a coworker who is leaving the library at the end of this month.  I've lost track of how many bookshelf quilts I've made. Thirty, perhaps?

Wow! You're really on top of the mystery quilt, aren't you?! Great job! And I love your bookshelf quilt, too! I have a cute bookshelf panel that I got several years ago...seeing your quilt makes me want to pull it out and do something with it! :)

You are way ahead of me on the Orca Bay Mystery. lol

Love the book shelf book. I haven't seen one before but one of them would look great in my library.

I guess that's another quilt on my to do list.

Your Design Wall Monday link photo looks a lot like mine except for the colors--I used purple and green instead of black and red. Hasn't it been a fun mystery?! Lots of work but satisfying. Great job!

That is an awe inspiring sight with all of those Ohio Stars. Good job! Hope you had a Merry Christmas.

Did you pull up your tomato plants or just bring the fruit inside to finish ripening?

I have always wanted to make a bookshelf quilt. Maybe when I start making a rotating group of quilts for the only two walls in my house that can accomodate quilts.
