Dogwood is reddening up. Fungus looks like little flying saucers.

The quilt guild meets by Zoom in January and February. It was nice to be back in person this Wednesday evening. One of the guild members, an art teacher (retired; with a previous career in fashion textile design) talked about color theory. Her explanation was easy to understand and most informative.
In the studio:
21 placemats finished! I'm aiming for 130 for the February, 2027 Rotary spaghetti dinner project.More placemats are underway.
Linking up with Finished or Not Friday From Bolt to Beauty
Have a good weekend, everyone!
YAY!!!!! for getting back to Park steppin' :-)
ReplyDeleteAt first I read that you were aiming for 130 placemats for THIS February and then....wait a minute...it's March...oh.
ReplyDeleteIt does feel good to be back out walking when you haven't been in awhile! Your placemats are always fun to see. I bet the recipients loved them this last time!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great start on the placemats. It's a good way to use up all of those pieces and parts that are never going to make it into a quilt.
ReplyDeleteWhat are the dimensions for your placemats?
ReplyDeleteHope your walking routine falls right back into place again. That’s a big goal for placemats but plenty of time.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to get back to walking as it warms up. You've got a good start on your placemat project!
ReplyDeleteHi Nann! Your SAHRR turned out well! I stopped on mine because it wasn't working. As one reader suggested, it needed a time out! And I'm amazed at your placemat goal. At present I'm limiting myself to re-supplying my stash of table runners to use as hostess gifts.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you can take walks again! I love the fungus on that tree! 130 placemats---WOW~Yours look wonderful! You are really making progress!
ReplyDeleteLook at all those placemats! They will look so cheerful at the event.
