Orca Bay, step 4: 128 string-pieced triangles. I have no idea how these will fit with the hourglasses, HSTs, and little blue string blocks. (The fabric is RED! In the photograph it looks orange, but I assure one and all that it is RED!)
At the Waukegan Area Branch AAUW holiday luncheon yesterday we drew the winning ticket for Christmas Cards, the 2011 holiday raffle quilt. The winner (Virginia C.) was delighted. The $295 proceeds will be divided among AAUW projects. (I need to get going on the AAUW spring 2012 quilt!)

Hum, I haven't been reading blogs or Quiltville yahoo group as much this weekend. I like the red triangles. I'm saving but not doing this quilt. I may never do it but I applaud every one's progress.
I can't wait to see Orca Bay put togeher in the end. love the colors.

Oh your triangles look so yummy!! I'm glad we finally got to see the main color.
My blocks are still at the trimming stage, but I'm loving seeing all the completed ones. I'm completely stumped about how they will all work together ... but I know it will be great when it is revealed :)

hello, I've made orange too!!! I'm in a hurry to see all this quilts finished with all this colors so differents ! I love this quilt mystery !!! and I love what Bonnie offers us !!!
Looking great! I just finished mine too but still have to trim and cut into triangles.
